Indiana Foundation Service Partners with Habitat for Humanity
On June 17, the Indiana Foundation Service (IFS) team got their hands dirty with Habitat for Humanity Morgan County. As part of the companywide Build Together 2023 initiative, nine employees constructed a new home in the Martinsville community for a family in need.
While at the job site, IFS employees noticed that the home’s crawl space needed repairing. They quickly got to work installing a new encapsulation system and sump pump to keep the home’s crawl space dry and protected.
Through this partnership, Groundworks donated $100,000 to support long-term stability through safe and affordable housing. In addition, it gives 4,400 employees the opportunity to volunteer in 55 communities over the course of the year.
