If concrete on your property looks like a jigsaw puzzle, that’s a problem. Thankfully, it’s a problem you can fix—and Indiana Foundation Service can help.

Since 1993, we’ve been helping Indiana homeowners repair their concrete with industry leading concrete lifting solutions. Read on to see how our repair process works and why it will last.

What is Concrete Crack Repair?

Before (left) and after (right) concrete crack repair.

Concrete crack repair is just what it sounds like: fixing cracks in concrete, often with concrete lifting methods. With professional assistance, your concrete surfaces can become smoother and safer.

Think of all the concrete on your property. You probably have a driveway or a concrete porch. If they’re cracking, it could lead to a nasty accident, which is where concrete crack repair comes in.

Our concrete crack repair method uses a modern material called polyurethane foam. As we inject it under the concrete, the foam expands, filling gaps and lifting the structure. In just 15 minutes, polyurethane cures to its final strength and supports the newly lifted concrete.

Signs You Need Concrete Crack Repair

Concrete cracks can appear on nearly any concrete surface. Good news, they’re easy to spot. Keep an eye out for the following:

How We Install Concrete Crack Repair

At Indiana Foundation Service, we approach every job with professionalism and efficiency in mind. With our industry-leading repair method, here’s what you can expect on installation day:

  • Drill small, penny-sized holes into the concrete.
  • Place injection ports in each hole.
  • Mix and prepare the two-part, closed-cell polyurethane foam.
  • Inject foam beneath the concrete slabs through the ports.
  • The expanding foam fills the voids beneath the concrete and lifts the slab.
  • Allow the foam to fully cure (approximately 15 minutes).
  • Remove the injection ports and fill and smooth out drilled holes.
  • Seal cracks and joints to prevent future damage.

With industry leading tools and experience, Indiana Foundation Service’s concrete repair process is efficient, minimally invasive, and provides long-lasting results. Contact us today to see it for yourself!

FAQs

Typically, the entire concrete lifting process can be completed within a day, depending on the extent of the damage and the size of the project. The PolyRenewal™ injected foam cures in just 15 minutes, so you can use the surface the same day. Indiana Foundation Service experts will provide an accurate installation timeline during a complimentary inspection.

We don’t use traditional fillers to address concrete cracks. Our approach involves injecting high-density polyurethane foam beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it. Though we don’t technically “repair” concrete cracks, we can often close them. Additionally, we apply a silicone-based sealant to the cracks and joints after stabilizing the concrete.

All cracks can potentially cause issues with your concrete. Hairline cracks usually aren’t a major concern, but cracks wider than ¼” should be repaired promptly. Instead of attempting DIY fixes, it’s advisable to invest in professional solutions from Indiana Foundation Service. Our PolyRenewal™ system can lift and stabilize concrete while helping to close cracks. Contact us for a free inspection and estimate

*Disclaimer: “Concrete leveling” means the process by which cracked, uneven concrete is stabilized, and in many cases lifted, by means of PolyRenewal™ polyurethane foam. Indiana Foundation Service does not guarantee that PolyRenewal™ can make your concrete perfectly level.
